Thank you in advance for your donations!
I need your help! I am launching a tour for my one-woman show – “Left-Hander in London –
The Earthquake.” The World Premiere will be in Toronto on June 24, 2014.
We are booking performances in more cities for the summer and fall of
2014 and beyond. And I have teamed up with Vanity Fair-recognized doppelganger
Kimberly Roberts as she does her show “The Get Happy Hour with Judy Garland.”
Writing and performing my show has taken lots of time and money. I have many
expenses, including stocking my book “Left-Hander in London: A field guide to
transgenders, lesbians, gays and bisexuals in the family, on the job and in the pew;”
revising my social media accounts and website to promote the show; paying for travel
expenses to Toronto and the first few cities on the tour, as well as hotels and meals;
creating posters and promotional handouts to promote the show; purchasing costumes
(wait until you see my dress!) and makeup; paying for a stage crew; and renting pianos.
Please help out and donate what you can: $5, $10 or $20 or whatever. It adds up and every bit helps.
If you donate over $150, I will include two tickets to my show when we are in/near your
town. And If you want your name included as a donor on my website, let me know.
I’d be happy to name you as a supporter!
And please remember, as much as I’m asking you to support me, I’m also asking you to
support someone else who might be going through a similar situation. My ultimate goal is to
create awareness and support for LGBT issues, so that maybe at least one person
doesn’t experience hatred, rejection, opposition and disapproval just for being
comfortable in his or her own skin.
